Previously, we introduced Steven’s show car project, which he has been kind enough to present to us in photos, as well as in his Beyond a Build: Road to SEMA video series.
“What inspired me to build Sally was my family, and the love of being a car enthusiast. After putting in hours work in my tiny garage, bleeding from cuts and sharing good times, I can say it’s worth it after seeing the finished product. It’s the support of all my friends and family that keeps the car community thriving. This will be a lifelong journey and I am excited to share it with the world.” Says Steven.
In an earlier post, we covered Steven’s application of ColorBond Pro Tech Trim Color auto trim paint, which was used to paint the 350Z’s speaker surrounds. Steven explained it was a simple process to obtain great results. “Protech is hands down the best trim paint product I have ever used. The quality is top notch and it really brought back the shine to our interior!” Steven enthused.
Recently, Episode 4 of the Beyond a Build: Road to SEMA video series was released. In this feature we see ColorBond LVP Refinisher auto upholstery paint being applied to the car’s interior trim. Steven arrived at just the right custom color blue to match the exterior paint by mixing LVP in concentrate form. The results are stunning. “This is the seal of quality. Thank you ColorBond Paint” Steven states. To see the episode Click Here.
We will continue to feature new Beyond a Build: Road to SEMA videos as they become available. Check back to follow Steven’s build in preparation for the SEMA Show, and his potential win of the ColorBond CLeo Award.
