1. A Clear coat is used to provide more protection to areas that are touched often. ColorBond does recommend a clear coat. The out of stock item is expected to be back in stock mid-February. 2. ColorBond does not have a repair kit for missing pieces of a substrate. You may want to check out interior paint forums, they tend to have the type of information you are looking for.

The newer of the two colors is Toyota Ivory 3. Is your vehicle a Toyota or are you trying to match a GMC / Ford color? You also mention Ford Medium Light Stone, ColorBond Paint # 333.

LVP customers tend to use 2-3 coats on a project. A clear coat is one to two coats.
